There are fears for sufferers of epilepsy after the new Olympic logo has been found to cause fits
The new promotional film surrounding the new Olympic logo can cause epileptic fits amongst susceptible people when shown on television.
One Epileptic group reports 12 people have had a fit since watching it.
Epilepsy Action has received numerous reports of people having epileptic seizures as a result of seeing the moving version of the 2012 Olympic brand, with its flashing and moving multicoloured images.
Professor Graham Harding, a leading expert in the field of photosensitive epilepsy, has advised us that the images have failed to meet the FPA safety guidelines and should not have been screened.
The images could affect the 23,000 people in the UK who have photosensitive epilepsy and may also affect other people who do not yet know that they are photosensitive.

Logo Launch
The new logo for the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games was launched in London on Tuesday by Sebastian Coe and a team of London 2012 ambassadors.
Described by its designers as "youthful and exciting", the emblem cost £400,000 to produce and features four striking blocks of colour that spell out the number 2012. The emblem also includes the Olympic Rings and the word 'London'.

The new London 2012 brand was designed by Wolff Ollins. The design brief was for an emblem that represented the four key 'brand pillars' of access, participation, stimulation and inspiration, culminating in the brand vision of 'Everyone's Games'.
Seb Coe defends the logo
The London 2012 Chairman, Sebastian Coe, backs up his designer, describing the new logo as "dynamic, modern and flexible". He went on to say "It will become London 2012's visual icon, instantly recognisable amongst all age groups, all around the world".
But others haven't been as positive about the new logo.
'Hideous'
Bob Neill, London Assembly Member for Bexley and Bromley and the Conservative spokesman on the 2012 Olympic Games, said: "Lord Coe has described this logo as 'ambitious, interactive and youth-friendly', I would describe it as hideous.
"Questions needed be answered as to how we have ended up in this situation. Was there an open competition to supply the designs? If so, what on earth do the rejected ones look like!
"We need to know how much money this exercise has cost, because whatever it was, it's been a complete waste of money."
