Richard Roe is a 64-year-old millionaire who loves to travel - the only problem is that's he's been single for 10 years and would now like to find a wife to take on a trip around the world.
He launched a website called Senior Bachelor which he says grew from the realisation that, after 10 years of being single, he missed being in "a loving, healthy, committed relationship".
"I travel a great deal every year, and let's face it, being in a gondola in Venice, or on the beach in Bali watching the sunset, or seeing the Taj Mahal under a full moon, is a heck of a lot more fun being with someone you love than being alone!" said Richard.
Adventurous
Richard ideal partner must be over 38, adventurous and adaptable, non-smoking, no more than a social drinker, must not use drugs and have no convictions. She must also have a similar background to Richard.
Richard was divorced in 1994 after 29 years of marriage and has three gorgeous sons. He has led an interesting life - his ex-wife is Grace Kelly's niece and godmother to Princess Caroline. He often stayed at the palace in Monaco and has many stories of meeting celebs including Cary Grant, Frank Sinatra and Maria Callas.
In 1994 Richard travelled the world with his son to make a documentary about fathers and sons, the short film called "Pop and Me" was a semi-finalist for an Academy Award.
Trip of a lifetime
After receiving all the entries, Richard will be travelling to meet finalist contestants face-to-face. He'll then head up a panel of judges, including his daughters-in-law, an ex-girlfriend and a mystery celebrity who'll conduct final interviews with selected prospective travellers.
His final selection will be made in September.
