Find out what Preston and Will from the Ordinary Boys had to say in their live webchat
Lizzie!: I love your songs - they're a really cool style. Are there any musical artists that inspire you?
The Ordinary Boys: No not really... The Beatles... Steveland Wonder, The Ramones... loads really
Shane: Good Morning. Is there a song that you have written that you're particularly proud of? Why?
Preston: Our new single 9-5 which is out on Monday. So go out and buy it!!
Aimee: Have you started writing your next album?
The Ordinary Boys: We have indeed. Yesterday we were recording an instrumental piece and the computer crashed and we lost it all. If you know anything about midi then you will know how annoying it is!
Emma!: Hi Preston - have you seen any of your Big Brother housemates other than Chantelle?
The Ordinary Boys: No... no plans to either - too busy!!
Abi: Silly question, but what's it like to be in a band?
The Ordinary Boys: I don't think it is a silly question, but the fact is that you don't feel any different. It's hard work, but you get a lot of job satisfaction. The hours aren't very good, but we address that in our new single out on Monday!
Leanne: Morning Guys, really enjoyed the tour. If you could be anyone else in the world who would you be and why?
Preston: ggod about the spot!! I would be Will as it wouldn't be much different than being me!! Will: I would be Preston so that he wouldn't be an empty shell.
Princess Katie: Where did you get your gorgeous jumper?
Will: I got this today. Someone brought it in for me to wear, so I have only had it for about half an hour - I've had loads of compliments already!
Nick: Hi, will you be watching Big Brother?
Preston: Yeah, I like Pete he reminds me of Jim Carey meets Suggs!
Josh: Will the new album be any different from Brassbound and Over the Counter Culture? If so how?
Will: Different songs, different artwork. Preston: Because everything is really exciting at the minute we think it is going to more exciting...and better!!
Jules: Has it put any pressure on the band because Preston has had more publicity since he went into the Big Brother house?
Will: Erm...in a way it has because more people will be paying attention to the next record, but it's positive because we have more people to impress with our album. Good pressure - you need that in a band... breaks up the periods of watching Deal or No Deal.
Lizzie!: How did you come up with the name 'The Ordinary Boys'?
Preston: We stole it off a Morissey song
Princess Katie: Hey, hey Boys. I'm needing a good laugh, do you know any good jokes?
Preston: Oh no I can't tell that one....all too un PC I'm afraid.
Frame: I have seen you twice in Newcastle - it was amazing. Where is the best venue you have played?
Preston: We played this little cafe in Newcastle's Mambo cafe I think. That was cool and of course the GMTV studios.
Steph: Where's the beautiful James?
Preston: He's gone home. Will: They get to go home and we have to another six hours' work! Nobody ever asks where's the beautiful Will or Preston!
ClairyFairy: Hello boys - if you had a chance to record with any artist, who would it be and why?
Preston: Well Clairy Fairy I would like to record with Mike Skinner...
Lizzy: Are you pleased with the video for 9-5 - after all, the fans took part in it?
Preston: Yeah, I think it is the best video we have done. Will: Videos are sometimes are sometimes hit and miss but we were really pleased with this one.
Debbie: Are the Ordinary Boys influenced by Madness at all?
Preston: Yes, there first records were amazing - not very good when they tried to get serious though.
Smurfie: How long have you guys known each other?
Will: Probably about 8-9 years and we have been playing in bands right from the beginning.
Jules: Do you like football and will you be watching the World Cup?
Will: I bloody love football. So yes. I support England and Chelsea. Preston: I don't really like football. I support London Uniited and I like GOALS!
Janet: What is your favourite song to perform live?
Preston: I think our new single that comes out Monday is a fresh exciting sound that you can play at any time if you in or out.
Zany: Are you still going to tour with Robbie Williams?
Preston: No we aren't. We said it on GMTV earlier - you should have been watching!
Louise: What sort of music do you like listening to?
Preston: I like the new Ordinary Boys single that comes out Monday! I like punk, '60s stuff. Will: I like loads of good pop tunes.
slimsima xxx: Where was Lady Sov today? And do you have any nicknames for each other?
Will: I think she is in America at the mintue. We just call her Sov. She calls me Sugar Lips.
Vics: What question would you ask one of your idols? By the way - I was in your video... thanks for the opportunity.
Preston: Depends who it was. Will: I would ask Phil Spector - he's such a nutter...
Tiffybum: Young Soul Rebels were rocking it at your gigs! Do you think it's important to support new talent and we will see them again in October?
Preston: Yeah, i think it is important. We did it for the Kaiser Chiefs and look at them now.
Elizabeth: Where's your favourite place to relax?
Will: I just like relaxing in Brighton because that's where my flat is. Nice to go home. Preston: It's nice to relax on the beach in Brighton.
Gillian: Hi there guys, Will you be watching the Eurovision this weekend? Do you think Daz Sampson will win?
Preston: He's totally rubbish! I like the heavy metal band I think it's the Finland entry. Will: Why are they making English people look so rubbish at songwriting?
Hayley: Do you enjoy all the female attention?
Will: Can be tricky at times...
Niamh: What has been the highlight so far in your music career?
Preston: This web chat for GMTV of course.
The Ordinary Boys: Good bye thanks for all the questions...see ya!
