Olivia Newton-John and her husband 'Amazon' John are on the sofa to talk about their campaign to save the Amazon rainforest
Four-time Grammy Award winner and former Goodwill Ambassador to the United Nations Environmental Program Olivia Newton-John and her husband, "Amazon John" Easterling, owner and founder of the Amazon Herb Company are stopping in the UK on their world tour to promote the health benefits associated with the preservation of the Rainforest.
Together Olivia and John are spreading the word about the health values found in the botanicals of the Amazon. They recently launched the organic Rainforest drink, Zamu, to rave reviews.
In addition, they are working together with the ACEER Organisation to help the indigenous people of the Amazon gain ownership and title to their land.
In September 2009, they also joined forces with Prince Charles The Princes Rainforest Project to further stress the global importance of Rainforest.
Marriage
Olivia married natural-health businessman John in two secret ceremonies. Only the bride and groom attended an Incan spiritual ceremony held on a mountain top outside of Peru.
They then returned to the US and made their union legal with a beach front wedding in Florida. They kept their nuptials a secret until a 4th of July BBQ held at her Malibu home, where they surprised guests.
They were friends for 17 years and stayed in contact through a puppy she gave John, who is still with them both today 17 years later.
