David Removal Man Day - star walks off with GMTV sofa

20/02/09 - David Van Day caused havoc on the GMTV set this morning after removing the famous red sofa from the set!

As bemused GMTV presenters, Ben Shephard and Emma Crosby, looked on, the I'm A Celebrity star dragged the sofa across the studio – calling it his 'bed'.

Van Day took the couch in protest to his interview ending. He said: "No, I'm not going, I'm not going", before adding, "Then this is coming with me."

Shocked Emma Crosby said, "Where are we going to put our next guests? Our boss is going to be furious."

Law And Order UK stars, Bradley Walsh and Jamie Bamber, were left to carry the sofa back in themselves for their interview. Jamie said: "It's heavier than it looks – it's not Ikea!"
