Speaking about the star's first appearance on a British stage in three years, Alexandra said Robbie was right to play up to his fans. She said: "Now the audience in the studio are actual people who line up outside - it's not families – so it's proper fans out there. Of course you've got to play to them. And I watched him in rehearsals, he's such a lovely guy."
Alexandra went on to reveal she was nervous to meet the ex-Take That singer, saying "When I met him I was like, 'Hello Mr Williams' – I got really scared."
The X Factor star also revealed she loves the buzz of her new busy showbiz lifestyle. "There really is no time to do anything," she said. "It's literally live, eat, breath, singing, working – do what I need to do – sleep, get up, do the same thing. And it's fun – I love it."
Speaking later in an exclusive online GMTV webcast, Alexandra said she was surprised when she met friend Beyonce's husband Jay-Z - and he was quiet! "He's very quiet. He's very much to himself - and you would think a rapper would be in your face. Jay-Z is lovely and quiet, which is really cool – and it made me lost for words. I was like, well what do I say now?"
