Susan Boyle thanks fans for their support during her 'rollercoaster' year
Singing sensation Susan Boyle thanked fans for their support this morning – following her 'rollercoaster' year.
Speaking to GMTV, the Britain's Got Talent star said she was 'touched' and 'humbled' by her fans, but admitted her new-found fame was sometimes overwhelming. She explained: "It's quite a lot to take in and it's a bit overwhelming at times – I've got to be honest here – but it's very nice. And can I say a big thank you to those who gave me a lot of support – thank you very much."
Talking about her reception in America, Susan added: "It was really knockout actually – especially at the airports."
The singer went on to claim fans will be surprised by her new album – claiming she's added her own twist to the record. Susan said: "It's a mixture, it's not the show tunes that everybody thought I would do. It's got quite a few nice ballads on it such as 'Proud' and 'Who I Was Born To Be'... I like to put something personal into it - give something personal back."
