Top maternity nurse Jo Tantum shares her expert views on the secrets to raising babies

Jo Tantum has over 18 years' experience with babies and is qualified as a maternity nurse.

She has travelled worldwide helping lots of families to get their babies into a sleeping and feeding routine.

After years of looking after single babies, Jo decided to develop her interest in twins and is now one of the very few Twins Specialists in the UK.

Solving problems

She also helps families who are having problems with their non-sleeping babies and works with the parents to solve their children's sleeping difficulties. 

Jo is also a regular consultant to new parents - helping them through the first few daunting weeks.

She says each time she looks after a child she learns something different. She knew she couldn't help everyone so that is why she decided to write 'Baby Secrets'.

Now so many more families can benefit from her advice as she finds it heart breaking to tell a distraught parent she hasn't got the time to come and help them.

She hopes that through the book and website many more families will get the help to change their lives for the better.
