Jenni Falconer joined GMTV in August 2000 as co-presenter of Entertainment Today
Jenni was born in Glasgow on 12th February 1976. Her family moved to the South of England when Jenni was seven. In 1994 Jenni moved to Leeds to attend University, majoring in Spanish and Italian, although she also spent a year studying Latin, Geography and Management Studies.
During her first term at university, an appearance on 'Blind Date' coincided with some work experience at a local radio station. These two opportunities led to Jenni presenting 'Les Clips', a production for BBC Scotland, which was transmitted on her 19th birthday.
In March 1995 Jenni had her first major break in television when she became the co-presenter of BBC Scotland's outdoor and leisure series, 'The Big Country'. Jenni stayed with the show throughout its three year duration.
In 1997, whilst still at University, Jenni began presenting on the regional magazine show, 'Tonight' before joining ITV as a reporter on their current affairs show, '3D', and the consumer show, 'We Can Work It Out'.
Due to her increasing success, Jenni faced the difficult task of juggling her education and her career and put her degree on hold.
Throughout 1999 and 2000 Jenni continued to report on the third series of 'We Can Work It Out'. Jenni narrated the second series of ITV's highly successful 'Pleasure Island', presented films for the BBC Flagship programme 'Holiday', and was co-host on ITV's 'Drop The Celebrity', alongside Mark Durden-Smith.
Jenni has also presented the ITV travel series, 'How to Holiday'. In January 2005, Jenni hosted the live coverage of the Tsunami Concert from the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff.
Jenni is a sports fanatic and has participated in skiing, horse riding, hockey, tennis, rowing, trampolining. Now she has less free time she frequents the gym to burn off excess energy.
