Anna Williamson is the presenter of GMTV and CITV`s weekend show for kids TOONATTIK (Saturdays and Sundays from 7.25am)
Born in North London and currently living in Hertfordshire, Anna's first brush with fame came when she joined the girl band, Blush in 1997. After over a year in the music business, Anna decided to break into the world of television.
In 1999 her dream came true when she was offered her first ever presenting job, reporting for Carlton Kids working on 'The Pulse', 'Wakey Wakey' and 'The Max'. The next year she soon moved to the Disney channel where she interviewed many stars including Justin Timberlake, The Spice Girls, Westlife, Destiny's Child and the cast of EastEnders. During this time she also hosted 'One Saturday Morning', Disney's live coverage of their Kids Awards backstage at the London Arena.
In 2001 Anna moved to NOW Television's live daily video games and chart show, 'Gamer' before joining Five's 'Milkshake' and 'Shake' and channel Five's Summer Roadshow.
In 2003 Anna moved CITV to present a number of their afternoon links and shows including 'Rescue Robots' and 'Scary Sleepover' before joining GMTV in February 2005. As well as presenting 'TOONATTIK' alongside Jamie Rickers, Anna has travelled the world fronting various GMTV competitions.
Anna has also appeared in numerous pantos including the title roles in 'Cinderella', 'Aladdin' and Jack in 'Jack & The Beanstalk' and as Princess at Theatre Royal, Brighton, in a production of 'Jack & The Beanstalk' with Twiggy and Simon Shepherd. Anna is also an accomplished voice over artist and last year gained a Diploma in Counseling.
Anna relaxes by practicing Pilates, training at the gym, cooking and listening to music. She also loves skiing and winter sports more than life itself!
