Jemma Kidd shows us how to pull-off the most glamorous party make-up

Smoky eyes are the little black dress of the make-up world; they look sexy and will never go out of fashion.

To achieve the look:

  1. First step is to sweep a light highlighter shade over the whole lid to the brow bone.
  2. Then, apply a dark and intense shade along the lash line, blending up and smoking outwards to the socket line.
  3. Next, smudge eyeliner (black would work for a really intense eye) across the upper and lower lash line, then finish the look off with dark, black mascara.
  4. For a full-on look, she recommends false eyelashes, and for a modern look, she suggests putting some glitter on the lower lids and lashes.
  5. As for the rest of the face, she prefers a very bare base with nude lips.
