The Great Outdoor Gym Company is working with private businesses and local authorities to provide free outdoor gyms for all the community to use.
There are 40 free outdoor gyms now available across the country, with at least another 36 planned for the next 18 months.
A number of local authorities are providing fitness sessions on their gyms so that people can meet a coach and get training guidance from them. People of all ages can get involved - from the seasoned exercise enthusiast to the beginner. Each piece of equipment is easy to use with clear instructions on signage boards. All equipment has been rigorously designed and tested so that it is completely safe for all the family to use.
